Marcelo Morinigo, CPA has been promoted to Principal in the firm’s Tax & Small Business Practice Group/International Services Team
Since joining the firm in 2015 as a Senior Accountant, Marcelo has been a cornerstone of the international tax specialized services team. His exceptional leadership, dedication, and expertise have earned him this well-deserved advancement. In his new leadership role, Marcelo will continue to build on his reputation as a trusted advisor for foreign owners and managers of U.S. businesses, foreign individuals living in the U.S. as well as expatriates navigating through complex U.S. accounting and tax compliance matters.
Marcelo’s career is marked by a commitment to excellence. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he moved to the U.S. 20 years ago where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a masters degree in taxation from Goldey-Beacom College. He also earned a US International Tax certificate from the AICPA. His Latin American heritage, U.S.-based professional education, and years of international accounting and tax experience enabled him to assist clients with unparalleled insight and reliability, regardless of task’s complexity. In addition to his technical expertise, Marcelo is deeply committed to client success, ensuring every client receives tailored guidance, whether directly from him or through BLS CPAs extensive domestic and global network. His vision and insights will continue to drive the firm’s success in delivering exceptional international accounting and tax services.

Tyler Starr, CPA, QKA has been promoted to Manager in the firm’s Retirement Plan Audit Services Practice Group
Tyler’s journey with us began in the summer of 2016 when he joined as an intern. Since then, his hard work, dedication, and passion for the field have been nothing short of inspiring. A CPA and QKA, Tyler specializes in auditing employee benefit plans for for-profit, nonprofit, and governmental entities. Over the years, he has not only sharpened his technical expertise but also grown into a trusted advisor for clients. His ability to mentor and guide rotational employees and summer interns has had a lasting impact on our team, setting a strong foundation for future professionals in the field.
A graduate of West Chester University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance, Tyler is an active member of the AICPA, DSCPA, and ASPPA. Along with his CPA and QKA, he strengthened his education by earning three AICPA Advanced Certificates related to benefit plans. Beyond the office, he is deeply involved in Trinity Community Church (Hockessin, DE) and the Assemblies of God and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children traveling the world. Tyler’s promotion is a reflection of his exceptional contributions to the firm and our clients.
