Belfint, Lyons & Shuman, P.A. (BLS), a Top 300 certified public accounting and consulting firm headquartered in Delaware, announces multiple well-earned promotions.
Elizabeth (Liz) Wyjadka, CPA, CFE has been promoted to Supervisor in the firm’s Government Audit Practice Group
Liz joined the firm in 2021 after making a career change from internal governmental accounting to public accounting. This knowledge of working for a government agency gives her a unique understanding of her clients and their needs. Liz is a graduate of Temple University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Government Finance Officers Association of Pennsylvania. Liz currently resides in Elverson, Pennsylvania.
Noah Raine has been promoted to Senior Accountant in the firm’s Government Audit Practice Group
Noah joined the firm as an intern in 2021, continued as a full-time team member upon graduation in May 2022 in the firm’s Rotational Development Program, and ultimately found his path in the firm’s Government Audit Practice Group. Noah is a graduate of Rowan University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics and is currently pursuing his CPA license. Noah currently resides in Pennsville, New Jersey and enjoys volunteering at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Saloni Bhavsar and Cristina (Cris) Castillo have been promoted to Staff II Accountant in the firm’s Tax & Small Business Practice Group
Saloni joined the firm in June 2022 in our Rotational Development Program and is now a valuable member of our Tax & Small Business Practice Group. She enjoys preparing a variety of returns, including individual, partnership, S-Corp, C-Corp, and trust returns. Saloni is a graduate of Wilmington University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and currently resides in Newark, Delaware.
Cris joined the firm in July 2019 after working in the business office of a local private company. She started her career with BLS as an Administrative Services Associate and has grown professionally to receive her recent promotion to Staff II accountant where she assists clients in our Tax & Small Business practice group, with a specialization in bookkeeping and international services. Cris earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and a minor in Latino/a Studies from Millersville University. She is continuing her education at Cecil College to be able to sit for the CPA exam. She is also Quickbooks certified. Cris currently resides in Oxford, Pennsylvania.
