- Avoid sending information via text messaging. One of the secure methods listed above is best.
- Check the format of your files and try to avoid sending .jpg files. Our preferred format is .pdf, and convenient pdf scanners can be utilized right from your phone.
Many clients ask for clarity between Suralink and SafeSend, so we thought these short descriptions might help to clear up any confusion.
What is Suralink? Suralink is a file/information sharing portal where clients can upload documents for tax return preparation to the firm and the firm can also share documents with the client. Click here to get to BLS’s Suralink
What is SafeSend? SafeSend is the portal used for tax return distribution to clients and electronic signing of returns. You will get reminders regarding tax payments and estimates during the year.

If you have already completed Form 8879 for Federal, there is no additional form to be signed specifically for the State of Delaware. Form 8879 gives BLS the ability to electronically file Federal and State of Delaware personal tax returns.
