About Tyler
Tyler joined the firm as an intern in the summer of 2016 while completing his degree at West Chester University and continued with the firm upon graduation. Tyler is a member of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit practice group where he specializes in auditing employee benefit plans for for-profit, nonprofit, and governmental entities. Tyler has experience with employee benefit plans of all sizes, across various industries. He specializes in Form 5500 preparation and assists clients with rejected Form 5500 filings and corrections of plan errors, when necessary. He enjoys walking through the audit process with clients and answering their questions.
Tyler prides himself on being a resource to clients and being able to perform their audit efficiently with little interruption to their schedule. He uses his problem solving skills to resolve each client’s unique issues. He is particularly efficient in using Excel and data-extraction software to isolate errors and reconcile payroll activity. Tyler also has extensive experience in individual and business taxation preparation, which allows him to give his employee benefit plan clients an insight into various tax compliance issues. What makes Tyler stand out is his determination to conquer any challenge while providing exceptional client service. Tyler also enjoys participating in the firm’s recruiting efforts, new hire training, and contributing to the employee benefit plan audit blog, The Art of the Qualified Plan Audit.
